In the 1960’s, Johnny worked at a big name plumbing company.  For years, he observed how decisions were made from a completely different state hundreds of miles away, and how the corporate franchise operated far removed from its workers and the local Austinite community. Johnny knew that his community and coworkers deserved better. He envisioned a family owned and operated business that actually was a part of the community it served. One that valued its coworkers, gave back to the community, and would never allow corporate policy or greed to compromise an unparalleled standard of service.

In that moment, Johnny Rooter Plumbing was born.  

Today, Johnny Rooter Plumbing is a second generation family owned and operated business that has been serving the greater Austin area since 1993. We still serve many of the same customers Johnny earned back in the 1960’s, including their friends, coworkers and even kids.
